Category: accessible Devices
Hi all.
I need a digital voice recorder that is simple to use, accessible to use without vision, and not too expensive. I currently have a Wilson recorder which I do not like. It has three buttons: record, play, and delete. I would like one with a way of rewinding because with the Wilson, you have to keep hitting the play button to go backwards through your messages. There's no way to quickly skip through messages either backwards or forward, and there is no way to edit messages. I would like any and all suggestions from those of you who use digital recorders. I've seen some that cost over $500 and some under $50. I don't need thousands of hours of recording time or lots of complicated features, so under $50 would be best for me.
The one I've used for the last four years is the Olympus DS60. It's almost fully accessible, save for voicing your files. But it's plug and play, and so you can drag and drop or copy and paste files from it like a usb drive, to your computer. it's got a wide range of recording qualities as well. I know they're up to a higher model now than the one I have. I'm not sure how much it costs however.
olympus ls100 is accessible from what I've heard, it's expensive though.
i am using a digital recorder called angel reader.
Dont know whether its available in your country.
Its my favourate because revinding and farwarding is very friendly which is very essencial in my studies.
It may cost low!
There are a lot of options in Olympus recorders. They normally have voice guidance.
I own a DM670 and I am happy with it. I paid around 200 Euros.
There are some with tex reading capabilities it's up to you to check it out on their specs.
OK, thanks to all who tried to help. I found what I need. It's not an Olympus, but it has the features I need for not too much money.
